Comfort Inn & Suites Hampton near Coliseum

Booked my room through the choice privilege app and had called front desk to get more details on room options and she was very detailed and informative. I had a swift check in and everything was conveniently located and a very welcoming and comfortable setting. My Honey and I highly recommend and will definitely return again

Wonderful experience..The staff was very accommodating ( they would go that extar mile). They were kind and professional. Although, I encounter an evening front desk person that was very rude and disconnected. She would sit behind the desk watching something onscreen or her phone or chatting with someone. She even accused me of stealing a bag of chips from the store and argued with me even threatened to call the police. It was insulting. We stayed there 3 weeks and that woman never spoke to me throughout remaining potion of stay. By the way, I did not steal the chips I exchanged the ones I purchased for another brand prior to the incident. she accused me of taken 2 when I only had one. Outside of that the rooms are clean and well kept. The daily breakfast with waffles were great. I think I gained a little weight during my stay. It's a quite location and accessible to the mall and dinning places and the interstate. I loved my visit and the special friends I met from the staff to patrons staying there. I would go back. "O" I forgot to mention the pool area and exercise room are nice but the pool water is cold . Also, they've 24-hour free coffee. It's a great place to stay with good rates you may even leave with new friends. Make sure you ask for Kevin, he was phenomenal. His service and very calm demeanor puts you at ease knowing he's going to give you the best rate and that your check-in and out is going to be flawless. He and all the staff that worked the front desk (except the one lady who remained rude even after speaking to the manager about her why is she still there? I guess good help is hard to find), the maid service and the opperators that prepare and maintenance the breakfast area made our stay there complete. It's a keeper..

I stayed in the hotel for the last two years for Hampton’s homecoming and I really love it. The staff is friendly and helpful, the free breakfast is very decent and the rooms are clean. I will be back again.

This is a perfectly serviceable and overall pleasant hotel experience, but I admit that its 3-star rating feels just a bit below the experience I had. My wife and I checked in for a family event-centric weekend and stayed 3 nights. I got a really good deal on Priceline which made the whole thing worth it, but the hotel has a pretty high price tag, but that seems to be largely the case for the Hampton area of Virginia. Upon check-in, there was a bit of issue with setting us up, but the front desk clerk was pleasant about it. We ended up being charged a double incidental deposit of $300, which is not great when you're budgeting a trip, and when I asked the desk later on, the clerk at the time was understanding, but basically sounded like that happens a good bit, and no solution was met until we checked out. The room was nice enough, I have no complaints there, as it gave us everything we needed in that regard. Issues arose when we had multiple incidences of our room keycard not working to get back into our room, and once again the front desk sounded as if this was a normal issue. Not a deal breaker, but mildly frustrating. Beyond that, there is no room cleaning or linen service that is done unless you have a longer stay, so we had to work around that with our garbage and had to get some extra towels from the front desk when we did not get new ones after turning in our used ones. And when I tried the pool the hotel information said was heated, it definitely was not, which again wasn't a major issue, but it was a minor annoyance. Overall, it was a nice enough stay and I can't complain with the price I nabbed this room for, but it's also not a place I'd be guaranteed to book again if I was in the area.

Our family was in route to the beach and we got a flat tire on our RV. It was midnight and to say we were stressed is an understatement. Zane was very helpful at the front desk and went out of his way to help us. The next morning the maintenance manager Johnny introduced himself and offered assistance as my husband was trying to get our tire on the RV fixed. The staff were extremely courteous and went above and beyond to offer assistance.

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish at Comfort Inn & Suites Hampton. I called ahead to ask for our 3 rooms to be together and Kevin was awesome to work with and got us all next to each other. Kevin remembered me from the call and was there throughout our stay. He treated us like good friends! It was such a nice entry and stay because of his hospitality, and the whole staff's was equally as amazing and accommodating. The rooms were very clean, especially compared to some of the other rooms we saw in Hampton that our friends were staying at. And the sound proofing is probably the best I've ever experienced in a hotel. You couldn't hear a thing in your room and the bathrooms were oddly sound proofed too so when you closed the door it felt like you were in a space bubble. It is walking distance to a gas station and super close drive to a big mall with lots of food, shopping, coffee and Target. Highly recommend staying here while in Hampton and if you are going to the Coliseum!! Shout out to Kevin for being the freaking best!!

Arriving early tired and just completely exhausted. I knew it was a chance my room was not ready. Specially since the night before was completely sold out. I took a chance anyway. I don't remember her name ( believeit started with a T). But she was professional, attentive and very accommodating. Her customer service was top notch. I appreciate her for going above and beyond. It was my 1st time at that location. I have decided since I do alot in that area for work, it would be my 1st go to hotel. Clean place. I didn't get up in time for breakfast so I'll try again next time.

We had a really good experience at this Hotel. Jayne the front desk guy was AWESOME and the woman that checked us in was super friendly. Izeb was her name I think. Rooms were clean. Staff was great. Location was good as we headed to a 3 day PHISH concert! I would stay here again
